Variation of Permanent Residence and Residency & Employment Rights Certificate to Add/Remove Dependants

A Variation of Permanent Residence and Residency & Employment Rights Certificate (RERC) to Add/Remove Dependants in the Cayman Islands to amend an existing approved status by updating the list of registered dependants. This process is used when there is a change in family circumstances, such as adding a new eligible dependant or removing a dependant due to reasons such as age, change in relationship status, or other qualifying factors. The application is assessed by WORC to ensure the dependant relationship meets the required eligibility criteria and that the variation complies with immigration laws and conditions attached to the original approval.


This variation is applicable in the following circumstances:

* Adding a dependant under the age of 18
* Adding a dependant over the age of 18, subject to eligibility criteria
* Adding a parent or other adult dependant, where permitted under immigration rules
* Adding a child as a dependant, where the applicant is the father and is unmarried, subject to proof of
paternity and eligibility requirements
* Removing a dependant, due to change in circumstances such as age, independence, or relationship
status
