A Residency and Employment Rights Certificate (RERC) for the surviving spouse of a RERC holder is an immigration authorization issued in the Cayman Islands that allows a non-Caymanian to continue residing and working in the Islands following the death of their spouse who previously held a valid RERC. Requirements
  • Copy of RERC of RERC holder and applicant
  • Prescribed Affidavit
  • Three written references from persons who have known you for at least 3 years together with proof of their identity.
  • Medical Declaration Cover Letter
  • (1 full face and 1 profile with name and date of birth on back
  • Passport Bio-page
  • Provide certified copies of birth certificates of any children born of the marriage together with proof of identity and photographs of such children.
  • Evidence of Spouse's Death
  • Employment Letter
  • Bank References
  • Police Clearance
